I used to have answers, now I have kids!

That is the title to a book I came across. Telling, isn't it? Lately, God is reminding me over and over and over that He is too awesome for me to understand and so is the life He has planned for me. At least for now. In this life we see in part and know in part, but one day we will know fully even as we are fully known! Praise God! (1 Cor. 13) But for today, our joy and strength comes by faith, by confident trust in who He has revealed Himself to be: a mighty and loving God.
This quote encouraged me this week, because I am being challenged with even my usual routine tasks right now. We ate frozen pizza for dinner and I am rebelling against the dust.
"When I was about to become a parent, my mom said to always remember that no matter what I was doing - laundry, cleaning, cooking or helping with homework - the ground between my own two feet was holy ground. . . . Some of the chores related to mothering can be mundane, and yet if I approach all of these tasks with the expectation that He can use even the most basic chore in His plan, then the chore isn't so mundane anymore."
And I add, it is harder to have a pitty party about it too!
