    Annie,
You have had some amazing experiences! I could never hike for 23 days without a shower. :-) I do wish I could travel more. I've never been on a mission trip, but it's something that my husband and I talk about a lot. Thanks for sharing.

I know that I would like you a lot! This is a fun list. You should put it in your sidebar so that it doesn't get lost.

You are the kind of person that I like to think that I am--but I am not. I like to think I'm adventurous but I'm really so cautious. I like to think that I like clove cigars but I don't. I like to think that I like rock climbing and camping, but I don't. Sigh.

Hannah - I am less adventurous now that I have kids. Now I have something really prescious to live for. In many ways my adventures were driven by shadows from the past. As I have found the true life I craved in Christ, I am less driven to extremes to find it outdoors. I think that is part of why outdoor life has boomed recently in our culture. People are desperate to feel alive. I still love nature and adventure, but in a much more peaceful and content way. BTW - Rock climbing can be very safe. Its only as risky as you want it to be. :-)

Marla - I am sorry it isn't working for your browser! Have you ever tried FireFox? I love it.

No - we are not Jewish at all, my God-Parents (no we are not catholic either) just love celebrating Passover - it is such a beautiful fease that gives such depth to our understanding of Chirst. It is wonderful preparation for easter as well as taught me a great deal about Jewish culture.
