What's Bakin'

Visit me at my new website - anniecrawford.com
My ought-to-be-famous oatmeal kind-of-healthy cookie!

2 1/4 cup whole wheat four
1/4 cup ground flax seed
3/4 cup regular rolled oats (? - I just usually pour some in :-)
2 teas. baking powder
1 teas. salt
1 Tbls. Cinnamon
1 cup butter (begin not so healthy part :-)
3/4 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup white sugar (optional)
2 large eggs
2 teas. vanilla
2 cups rasins (can sub. chocolate chips if needed!)
1 cup walnuts (optional)

Mix the dry stuff in one bowl and the wet in another. Pour dry stuff into wet and then add rasins and nuts. Bake at 350 for 12 min. or until just barely puffy all over. makes a very chewy, multi-whole grain cookie! I eat these for breakfast :-)
