My amazing husband is going to put my blog on its own website soon, so that I can do a bit more with it. Isn't he great?! So I need to buy the domain name soon. Should I keep it as it is, or is this too limited of a name? I am very open to comment and suggestion, because I am HORRIBLE at coming up with names and titles. It was always the worst part about writing a paper for me. I could just use my own name like Marla does. I lean towards keeping a mother theme though, because that is my major job in life and blogging about it helps keep me motivated.

BTW - Marla had a great, personal post about balancing blogging with the roles of wife, mother, and home manager.

I like your blog name just as it is. But maybe I'm just too unimaginative to come up with another idea ...hm :)

Thanks, Annie :) ...of course I'm biased, but I have found a freedom in using my own name. It lets me just be me instead of aspiring to something else publicly (i.e. when I used to be Proverbial Wife) which puts too much extra pressure on me (I put enough on myself already). Plus, it works well with me being a writer, even if I don't do it professionally again until the kids are older.

Yesterday when I was ordering homemaking books, I accidentally found your review of the book which inspired your blog title (it's funny how we can "bump into each other" online!). Creative Counterpart by Linda Dillow. I already have Intimate Issues but I've put CC and her other book in my wishlist.
